E-Flare Safety Beacon uses powerful LED technology to provide 36° of high-visible light. Beacon flashes 165-185 times per minute and can be seen over a 1/2 mile away. Beam brightness of 15 - 25 millicandela. Eliminates the risk of fire or explosion and does not give off toxic fumes leave residue nor does it pollute the environment with use. Waterproof dust-proof and durable (will survive a 3ft drop onto concrete surface). Waterproof with impact-resistant ABS body and polycarbonate lens. Fluorescent body with reflective strip for added visibility. Ideal for police firefighters airports traffic control parking valets construction sites and other public safety applications. Certified for Class 1 Division 2/Zone 2 hazardous area. Uses 2 Alkaline D Cell batteries (Duracell or EverReady recommended for optimal brightness). Battery life up to 4 hours at full brightness.
